Takiwi Milton-Babalola is an educational unicorn with expertise in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Originally from the beautiful state of New Orleans (yes, it's a state!), Takiwi has dedicated 16 years to teaching, leading, and inspiring both students, staff, and educators. Her passion project includes diverse roles such as mathematics teacher, college professor, instructional coach, LearnZillion coach, instructional technology coordinator, state conference coordinator, professional learning specialist, mathematics coordinator, and most recently, Chief Academic Officer. Takiwi is also known for conducting professional development sessions for educators and leaders across Georgia and Virginia. In her free time, Takiwi enjoys serving as a reality tv guru, recreational mathematics user, and mental self-care enthusiast.
