WELV Conference Proposals

Deadline for Registering Proposal Is Friday, December 1, 2023

Break-Out Sessions are a particularly popular feature of the conference each year, providing opportunities for participants to learn from the experiences of other members of the WELV community on a wide variety of topics.

Break-Out Sessions are one hour in length. We are considering an altered schedule which may allow 7-10 minute ‘power’ sessions. If you would like to be considered, please submit a separate proposal for each topic. Sessions should be informational and relevant to WELV members and should not promote specific products or services. Sessions should be highly interactive, engaging participants in activities and discussion, as well as providing time for questions and feedback.

Break-Out Sessions can be led by one Presenter, but you are welcome to have a co-presenter. Presenters are required to complete an online registration with information about their qualifications, a brief bio and a description of the proposed topic of their Break-Out Session.

 If the proposal is accepted, Break-Out Session Presenters will be required to register to attend the Annual Conference and pay registration fees (at the lowest rate).
